About the Journal
The Journal of Planning and Development (JPD) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to publishing original scientific research and studies in the field of economic sciences. It is published semi-annually by the Institute of Planning in Tripoli.
The journal publishes peer-reviewed scientific research and studies in the fields of planning and economic sciences in general, in both Arabic and English. It focuses on research concerned with national economic planning issues, including the analysis of problems affecting the national economy and proposing appropriate policies to address them with a neutral scientific vision, committed to a scientific approach that aims to foster creativity and develop scientific research tools and methodologies in order to keep pace with contemporary scientific advancements.
The journal also welcomes critical reviews of newly published books, especially important and recent international books. Reviews shall not exceed one and a half pages, provided they are objective and provide in-depth analysis to highlight the merits of these books for the benefit of readers.
Additionally, the journal publishes reports on scientific seminars and conferences. Reports shall not exceed three pages, covering the objectives and themes of the seminar or conference, brief summaries of the most important papers presented, and key recommendations. Each report must include the title, date, and location of the seminar or conference.
